President’s Message

I just walked outside and was surprised to find a fresh blanket of snow on the ground. Everywhere I looked there was a smooth blanket of pristine white; all I could hear was the muted sound of softly falling snow.

It was beautiful experience, and it made me think of the wonderful world in which we live and the Creator who loves each of us. Just that small experience with the new snow made me thankful and it reminded me that I need to share that thanks with others–to do something meaningful for others.

That is what is at the core of the More Good Foundation–doing something meaningful for others and “sharing thanks.” We want to share with others the many, many positive stories there are to tell about the Church, its principles, and its people. We want to not only tell those stories ourselves, but to help other faithful Saints tell their stories and help them be found by others.

Telling those great stories wouldn’t be possible without the assistance of people like you. When you choose to share your talents so the Foundation can accomplish its mission, you are doing things for others and enabling the sharing of faithful stories. Without you, it would be harder for those who know so little about the Church to find the information they need.

So, as we rapidly approach the time when we honor Him whose sacrifice was eternal, let me take just a moment to share my heartfelt thanks with you. Merry Christmas, and thank you for all you do.
