Happy 2011 from More Good Foundation

A new year…blink…and quite a quick close  as the end neared with such speed–is that a sign of age or enjoyment? Okay, don’t answer that! Well, it’s been fun to reflect on all that has taken place at More Good Foundation with your help and interest–and  to consider what awaits us in 2011, and 2012.

We’ve launched more than a score of new sites, added oodles of posts and pontifications on timely subjects; run numerous social media campaigns affecting public perception; augmented the Net with thousands of positive multi-media clips and images from the best sources–as we’ve helped morph the oft-esconced, lopsided, inaccurate and/or ill-defined profiles of Mormons online. The landscape is changing, and we’re humbled to be part of that new vista, with lots more cyber-skyline to improve. We’re moving online in various parts of the world with greater tenacity and tow–including specific initiatives in Russia and Germany, with other South American and Asian areas in queue and view. We’ve begotten and extended a largely wondrous Board, have been engaged in various consulting media projects, increased our overall breadth, depth, and visibility as we have sought to support The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in achieving its fourfold mission and advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ  online, captivating the interest of honest seekers of truth. We’ve seen the atonement at work in the lives of those who have found the truth through the New Media, met the missionaries, and embraced the gospel light. What more could we hope to embrace–but “more” bandwidth, greater outreach, more souls thus transformed this year?

Happy 2011 to each of you.  May you be blessed in feeling God’s presence closer than you have known it so far and be assured of His plans for your life, as you creatively carve out more of His will, and share more of His light.

And may you catch a snowflake or two on your tongue, watch a few more sunsets, and spend a little more time listening and seeking out the one who needs you this year, and ‘engage online’.  Thanks for being our friends, and the Lord’s.
