Why not start a blog?

If you're new here, read more about the More Good Foundation. We help members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon church) share their beliefs on the Internet. Learn more about what Mormons believe or talk with Mormons at LDS.net.

The Web has desperate need for more legitimate information about the Church. Personal accounts of our missions, our marriages, our families, and the quiet learning moments we experience through the Gospel are among the best sources for information. So why not start a blog if you haven’t already? Honest persons searching for information about the Church won’t help but be touched by our personal stories and experiences. So we need to tell them!

You can get started right away by using a free, hosted blogging solution such as www.blogger.com or www.wordpress.com. If you don’t mind paying a bit, there’s also www.typepad.com. If you’re more tech-savvy and would like to create a blog on your own server and administer it yourself, you can download free blogging software from www.wordpress.org or www.movabletype.org.

We at the More Good Foundation would be glad to help you get started when you’re ready. We may even be able to buy you a domain name and provide hosting, if you’d like.

When the Internet is dotted with blogs about the Gospel, especially blogs that use non-esoteric terms like Mormon, Mormonism, and Mormon Church, we’ll make a huge impact of good on honest seekers of truth.
